01Garanti BBVA’s e-commerce API market brings the bank’s payment and commerce services together in a developer-facing environment, where technical teams can search for services and work through the documentation behind them.
Business challenge
02Businesses of every size — from small merchants to enterprise technical teams — needed to locate the right API and its documentation and reach a working integration with as little support dependency as possible. The experience also had to surface genuinely adjacent services in context, without collapsing into a product catalogue.
User problem
03Technical users arrive with an integration goal rather than a browsing intent. They need to identify the correct API, understand what implementing it involves, and move from discovery to integration without repeated handoffs to support.

05A static presentation of APIs and reference documents was reframed as a guided, self-service path: find the relevant service, understand it in context, and proceed to implementation.
We treated the portal as a developer product rather than a marketing site: mapping integration intents, restructuring the information architecture around service discovery, and designing documentation as part of the journey instead of an appendix to it.
