Akmerkez

“Enjoy Life, Enjoy Shopping, Enjoy the Internet”

Shopping & lifestyle centre · Lightly edited historical copy

Project narrative from the period

Saying that the shopping mall Akmerkez singlehandedly jumpstarted a new era in the lives of Istanbulites would not be an exaggeration. Because Akmerkez invited visitors to enjoy shopping and living while still meeting the speed and comfort demands of modern life, its website had to fulfil the same promises. It did exactly that with its dynamic modern design and user-friendly navigation system, and was flexible enough to accommodate visitors' demands, with a design based on Google Analytics data.
